Graphic Designer

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team on a 12 month contract. 
This exciting role is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic, creative and focused team to highlight and build the Nature's Fare Markets brand!  This is a full-time temporary contract position for 12 months starting mid/late April 2026.

This is also a rare opportunity to bring your graphic design experience to work in beautiful Vernon, BC. where our head office and creative team are located.  This position is an in-person role that requires attending our office in Vernon so candidates must be located within daily driving distance of Vernon.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Ideate and execute impactful, on-brand design for campaigns and initiatives across channels, including in-store, web, email, social, and internal communications.
  • Translate campaign concepts into channel-specific layouts, optimizing for format, placement, motion, and performance without losing the conceptual idea.
  • Execute on-brand creative that ensures consistency and effective messaging hierarchy
  • Develop production ready artwork that spans both print and digital mediums.
  • Capturing and creating photo and video assets for social media.
  • Partner closely with the marketing team and cross functional teams to build relationships and develop integrated campaigns that support our business goals
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external collaborators, overseeing everything from prepress preparation to large-format production pieces.
  • Take feedback with openness and professionalism, adapting quickly and translating input into thoughtful iterations.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple design projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met in a fun, yet fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree or diploma in graphic design or design-related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an agency or in-house creative department
  • A well-rounded portfolio demonstrating expertise across both print and digital media —including large-format signage, marketing campaigns, and digital content.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (After Effects, Premiere) is a strong asset.
  • Solid understanding of prepress and print production processes.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience creating content for social media
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey design concepts to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
