Event & Marketing Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Events & Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness and a background in managing consumer events. This individual will be a creative, well-rounded marketing professional with at least 2 years of marketing experience and event management.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
This role is highly focused on the overall strategy and implementation of our event program, including creation and execution of detailed event marketing plans.
Event Planning & Execution:
- Oversee the planning, coordination of our annual calendar of events which includes wellness talks, workshops, sales, grand openings and other events in-store and online.
- Support the planning and execution of in-store events, collaborating with stores, internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective store-level execution and deliver exceptional experiences that foster brand loyalty and drive store traffic and sales.
- You should be comfortable facilitating events in-person and online and being the customer-facing brand representative. You will host webinars, occasionally moderate discussions, and manage the recording of sessions, addressing technical issues when they arise.
- Platform Management: Utilize platforms such as WebinarJam, Zoom, and Instagram Live to set up events, manage registrations, and publish event details.
- Develop detailed event timelines, budgets and work back schedules to ensure seamless execution of events on time and on budget.
- Regularly communicates with key stakeholders on upcoming events, including our level of involvement, event objectives and key activities taking place on-site.
- Provide support to store teams including coaching and providing feedback for development.
- Track, measure and report on event successes while providing insights and recommendations for improving future events and engagements.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Assist stores with planning and execution related to community events, including development and production of promotional activities and materials.
Community Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with key community partners and identify sponsorship opportunities that maximize brand exposure and align with our values.
Marketing Coordination:
- Manage all aspects of event promotion including development of event marketing plans, creative briefs, project plans, and in-store activation.
- Collaborate with marketing team to manage social media channels and develop relevant content for website, email marketing and other digital platforms in order to promote events and engage the community.
- Maintain consistent brand standards and messaging both internally and externally.
- Act as liaison for our nutritionist program in-store, evaluating and optimizing its effectiveness on an ongoing basis and collaborating with our nutritionists to enhance the offering where possible.
- Provide support to other marketing programs as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration, or equivalent relevant post secondary education paired with retail even experience
- 2 - 3 years experience in marketing environment with a successful track record of organizing and promoting successful events
- Experience with social media integration for events
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on ensure clarity of messaging
- Tech savvy
- Experience working with an in-house marketing or communications group would be considered a strong asset
