Cash Team Member - Full Time - Chilliwack

GROCERY TEAM MEMBER 

We are seeking team members who share our passion for holistic wellness and top tier customer experience to join Nature's Fare Markets in our upcoming Chilliwack location!

Store Opening early June 2026 - this is a fantastic opportunity for motivated, fun, friendly folks who share your passion for people and wellness.

As part of our front of house team, you are passionate about leaving a positive and lasting impression with those you interact with.  You are the first to say hi to others and are passionate about doing the right thing and being kind to those around you! This role guides customers through their purchase and assists with any last-minute questions or product selections. You are a trusted member of the overall team and are responsible for handling payment and transactions with great accuracy.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Give a warm “hello!” to our customers as they enter the department – we like building connections with our new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way.
• Assist customers with questions they may have about products we and give suggestions based on their needs (don’t worry, we will train you on this!)
• Work with your team to stock displays throughout the day so it is easily accessible for customers when they need it.
• Use your creativity and eye for detail to make attractive and organized displays.
• Learn about new products and featured products that are on sale through Nature’s Fare’s flyers and magazines.
• In other words, you will help others, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be safe, be a great team player and have fun!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience in produce, grocery, gardening and/or retail environment is preferred but not needed
• Experience in a customer service role is needed
• A passion for local, organic and sustainable food and natural supplements
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing
• Ability to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment
• Like to have fun!
